Sophia McCrae: Redefining Leadership and Innovation

Sophia McCrae is a successful leader in the healthcare support services field. She is currently the Vice President of Standardization, Innovation, and Experience at Crothall Healthcare, which is part of Compass One Healthcare. Over the course of her 16-year career, she has focused on making healthcare environments better for patients, families, and guests.

Professional Journey and Important Accomplishments

McCrae’s rise in the business world is due to her strategic roles and important projects. Before becoming vice president, she was the National Director of Patient Experience at Compass One Healthcare. In this job, she was in charge of creating and putting into action the “Positive Impressions” platform, a program that aims to change the way patients feel about their care by giving them more power and feedback. With her guidance, the project successfully organized 2.8 million rounds with industry leaders like Press Ganey and Huron Rounding. She was also in charge of a big team, with almost 200 patient experience managers in hospitals in the Eastern United States.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, her leadership was especially important. She was in charge of Compass One Healthcare’s “pop-up” medical field services at the Javits Center in New York City. This experience shows that she can handle complicated tasks and deal with emergencies well.

People have praised McCrae’s work a lot. She was on the cover of World’s Leaders Magazine as one of the “World’s Most Inspiring Women Leaders Making a Difference in 2024.” They called her “A Beacon of Leadership.” This award shows how dedicated she is to using new and eco-friendly ideas to keep the healthcare industry at a high level.

Background
Long Island University gave McCrae her Bachelor of Science degree. Before working for Compass One Healthcare, she worked in the Food & Beverage industry at the Ritz Carlton. There, she learned how to be a good leader and provide good customer service, skills that she still uses in her current job. She is a loving wife and mother of two daughters. She enjoys her family life and the creative arts.
