Ashton Hall: The Fitness Influencer Redefining Morning Routines

Ashton Hall, a 29-year-old fitness influencer and former college football player, has taken the internet by storm with his unusual morning routine. People on social media are both impressed and amused by it. Hall has turned from a struggling athlete to a viral sensation, with more than 18 million Instagram followers, almost 5 million TikTok followers, and almost 3 million YouTube subscribers. He has built a fitness empire by using his strict lifestyle and controversial content.

Ashton Hall was born on October 24, 1995, in Jacksonville, Florida. His love of sports had a big impact on his early life. He was a running back at First Coast High School and then played at Alcorn State University from 2014 to 2015. His football career wasn’t very good, though; he only gained 8 yards on 6 attempts. Hall’s NFL dreams came to an end after short stints with the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts in 2010. This led to a time of depression and weight gain, which peaked at 225 pounds.

This setback was a turning point. Friends encouraged Hall to get back into shape, and he lost weight and built the muscular body that now defines his brand. By 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to leave his job as a personal training director at a gym and start an online training platform called “Burn + Build,” where he shared bodyweight workouts that were popular with people who were stuck at home. His realness and hard work made him famous on social media.

The Internet-Breaking Morning Routine
In February 2025, Hall became famous all over the world when he posted a video called “Day 191 of the morning routine that changed my life 3:50am to 9:30am.” The almost six-hour routine starts at 3:52 a.m. and includes taking off mouth tape to stop mouth breathing, doing push-ups before dawn, meditating, writing in a journal, working out at the gym, diving into the pool for four minutes (according to the video’s questionable timestamps), taking two ice baths with Saratoga Spring Water, and rubbing a banana peel on his face as a skin care hack.

People praised and made fun of the routine’s absurdity, which included a mysterious woman bringing ice baths and breakfast. Supporters praised Hall’s discipline, and some even copied his methods. Critics, on the other hand, made fun of the routine, saying it was too showy and comparing it to Patrick Bateman’s routine in American Psycho. Some people on X asked if it was useful, and one person joked, “Imagine waking up at 3:45 a.m. and not getting anything done until 9 a.m. except for eating and exercising.” Even famous people like MrBeast and Logan Paul got in on the parody trend, and brands like McDonald’s and Spotify posted funny versions.

Hall embraced the chaos and made a follow-up video on March 24, making fun of his banana peel face and broken Saratoga bottle. This shows that he is at least partly in on the joke. But when he compared himself to Jesus because he thought people were copying him, it raised eyebrows. X users said, “They’re not copying you; they’re making fun of you.”

A Person Who Divides the Manosphere
Hall is a leader in the “manosphere,” a space that promotes traditional masculine ideals. His content mixes hypermasculinity, hustle culture, and Christian values. People have said that his routine, which starts at 3:52 a.m. and warns that “sin lives at night,” is a cleaned-up version of the toxic masculinity that people like Andrew Tate talk about. Some people, like activist Matt Bernstein, said that society has changed: “15 years ago, this behavior would have gotten you called gay, but now it’s seen as peak alpha male behavior.”

People who don’t like Hall say that his videos are more about getting people to click on them than about real lifestyles. His mysterious “10,000” business call and luxury items (Rolexes, Rolls-Royces) are meant to get people to click on them. His coaching programs, such as the $8,250 Platinum package, and his WORTHYSUPPS supplements help him make more money from his fans. Reports say he is worth between $1 million and $5 million. But supporters see him as someone to look up to, putting discipline and self-improvement ahead of materialism.

Not Just Memes
Hall’s impact goes beyond viral stunts. His “Worthy Coaching” platform encourages fans to make long-term changes to their lifestyles, and he interacts with them to support their fitness journeys. Schools and workplaces have started using easier versions of his routine, and rumors of a book or podcast deal show that he wants to do more. Hall, on the other hand, stays grounded by admitting to personal problems, like not meditating during family crises, which makes him seem more human.

Ashton Hall’s Legacy
Ashton Hall has definitely tapped into the zeitgeist, whether you think of him as a fitness guru, a meme machine, or a smart businessperson. His morning routine, which is both silly and inspiring, is a sign of a larger cultural obsession with being productive and improving oneself. Even though trolls make fun of his banana peels and ice baths, Hall’s ability to turn mockery into something useful shows how good he is at marketing. One thing is clear as Ashton Hall builds his empire: he’s not just waking up at 3:52 a.m.; he’s waking up the whole internet.
